This shot was taken in a village on the outskirts of Limassol city, Cyprus. An abandoned, rusted and smashed up car... a common occurance of Cyprus.
Written in the dust of the windscreen, the car reads "We live in an indifference" expressing our lack of concern for ourselves, our intelligence, our planet which we abandon and dispose of like everything else we seldom appreciate due to our supposed surplus spending power. It also expresses the indifference man shows for one another - in every way we build walls shuttering off discovering and experiencing one another. [link] |
